Conference room modernization delivered in under one month, creating a reliable training, presentation, and collaboration environment for KIA's Miami headquarters.

Project Overview
KIA – CSA headquarters in Miami required modernizing its meeting and training environments to support the evolving needs of its local teams, international partners, and dealer network. The organization's existing conference facilities relied on aging technology, temporary equipment arrangements, exposed cabling, and inconsistent room functionality, all of which limited the effectiveness of meetings and training sessions.
With an important international dealer training event scheduled to begin within one month, KIA needed a reliable and professional solution delivered within a strict timeline and budget.
The Challenge
The primary training and conference room had become increasingly difficult to use. Years of technology additions and temporary modifications had resulted in visible cabling, outdated equipment, inconsistent user experiences, and limited flexibility for different meeting formats.
The room needed to support a variety of functions, including:
- Staff training sessions
- Presentations for visiting dealers and partners
- Hybrid and video conferencing meetings
- Day-to-day business collaboration
At the same time, KIA was evaluating a broader modernization initiative that included additional collaboration spaces, including a dedicated video conferencing room and a large, divisible meeting area designed to accommodate multiple room configurations.
The challenge was not simply replacing equipment; it was creating a foundation for a more consistent and scalable collaboration environment across the facility.
The Solution
ProAV.Miami designed and implemented a complete conference room technology upgrade focused on reliability, ease of use, and operational flexibility.
The solution included:
- Professional presentation and video distribution infrastructure
- Wireless presentation capabilities through Barco ClickShare
- Integrated room audio system with ceiling loudspeakers and commercial-grade amplification
- Centralized room control system for simplified operation
- Dedicated presentation lectern
- New cabling and infrastructure to eliminate visible wiring and improvised connections
- Network-connected control and management platform
The system was engineered to allow users to seamlessly transition between local presentations, staff training sessions, and video conferencing while maintaining a professional, consistent user experience.
In parallel with the implementation, ProAV.Miami reviewed additional collaboration spaces within the facility, developing a technology roadmap that supports future expansion into dedicated conferencing and flexible, divisible-room environments.

Results
The upgraded training room was successfully completed ahead of the scheduled dealer training program, allowing KIA to host participants with confidence and without operational disruption.
Today, the space supports:
- Corporate training programs
- Video conferencing and remote collaboration
- Dealer presentations
- Internal meetings and workshops
- Flexible day-to-day business communications
A key factor in the project's success was the close collaboration between PROAV.MIAMI and KIA's IT manager and technical staff. Working together from initial planning through final commissioning, both teams aligned on technology, operational requirements, and user expectations to deliver a solution completed on schedule and fully ready for the upcoming international training program.
Most importantly, the project transformed a room that had become difficult to operate into a reliable, professional collaboration environment that meets the standards expected of a global automotive organization.
The successful deployment established a technology framework that can be extended to future meeting and training spaces throughout the facility, supporting KIA's long-term collaboration and communication objectives.
